Here at Sweet Snowsports we have been particularly lucky this season to be wearing not only one of the best looking but the best performing uniforms on the hill, and it’s all thanks to Sweet Protection.
Born out of Scandinavia, with a background in Kayaking and Mountain Biking they know a thing or two about battling the elements.
A busy Christmas and New Year period has really tested this gear and even after one particularly wet and soggy day we can confirm we were still dry, warm and looking good, well at least the uniform was!
Our Supernaut jacket and pants are 3 layer Gore-tex, 100% waterproof and offer maximum breath-ability. Teamed with our Nutshell inner down jacket and Saviour Fleece thermals we couldn’t be better protected. The Nutshell jacket is super lightweight and not at all bulky which we love and the thermals are fleece lined pieces of genius.
The team here at Sweet have also all been enjoying the Rooster II helmet. Jon is a particular fan saying he’d ‘never been a huge wearer of helmets before, but this is so light and comfortable I forget I’m wearing it.’ The biggest plus for Jon is that there is hardly any restriction to his hearing, plus the fact that the hood on the jacket is designed to fit over the helmet means he’s kept even dryer and warmer.
Sweet Protection are a pleasure to work with, from how friendly and supportive the UK distributor is to how quickly the uniform arrived and how well it performs.
