Courchevel & Meribel Morning Workshops

Writen by Jason Gibson.

We all learn to ski in different ways yet all ski lessons seem to be the same! Some of us like to understand the theory before we try something new whereas others just want to get stuck in, give it a try and see what happens. Whatever way you like to develop new skills our Morning Workshops for intermediate and advancSki Lessons Courchevel and Meribeled skiers will help you do it in a fun and relaxed environment.

So what makes our Morning Workshops different to the group ski lessons that are offered by other Courchevel and Meribel ski schools? Well the first thing you’ll notice is that they don’t run on every day of your holiday. For Levels 3 and 4 they run on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings and for Levels 5 and 6 skiers they run on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

However each session runs for 3 hours (0930-1230) which we consider the optimum duration for a group ski lesson to run as it allows you to access the beautiful slopes of Courchevel and Meribel, to warm-up and recap previously learned skills before spending quality time introducing and developing new techniques and activities.

In each Morning Workshop you will be coached in to how to monitor your own skiing performance, gauge your development and in choosing the correct focus to help you structure your practice time away from your coach. This will ensure that you adapt your technique to specific terrain and snow types which will help you become a more versatile and adaptable skier, making good decisions and taking control of the slopes!

The next thing that you’ll notice about our Morning Workshops is that there are only 5 people in a group which ensures plenty of individual attention and allows the ski instructors to spend plenty time with each student. We have deliberately capped the maximum group size so that we can all fit on a lift together and use this time constructively as a group and free up even more time to ski!

Then there are the Ski Instructors themselves who have all been hand-picked for their ability to deliver information in a fun and relaxed way and include their students in structuring each session. From simply asking what it is that you want to do to their ability to showing you methods of identifying and utilising good techniques Sweet ski instructors are really at the top of their game. Finally of course, they can really, really ski and will inspire you to try something new and to truly believe that you can do it too.

Our Morning Workshops run in Courchevel, Meribel and La Tania and are a refreshing and well thought out alternative to the traditional group ski lessons. The smaller groups, the inspirational coaches, the well-structured practice time and a real emphasis on fun will help you get the most from your holiday and revolutionise your skiing.
