Jon Gass

I started skiing at the age of 4 at Chatham Ski Centre in Kent where I would later spend time as the head of ski school. After getting the skiing bug my first overseas ski holiday was to Courchevel, the resort that I now think of as my second home.

I spent most of my formative years ski racing and could only really see one job for me when I left college and have never looked back. I’m now a fully qualified instructor (BASI Level 4) with my full French equivalence. I am just about to begin on my 6th season in Courchevel having also spent time teaching in Italy, Switzerland, Canada and New Zealand where I currently spend my summers living in the most beautiful town of Wanaka.

Now, 26 years after my first skiing experience, I’m really excited to help run a school with like minded people that think of teaching skiing as more than just a job. I hope we can help to make the difference between you liking your holiday and loving it. Teaching skiing is my true passion in life, well that and watching the mighty Spurs play football!

• BASI Alpine Level 4 ISTD
• BASI European Mountain Safety
• Full French Equivalence
• CSIA (Canadian Instructor Qualification)
• Snowsports Scotland (Alpine Performance Coach)
• NZSIA Alpine Trainer
