It’s a lovely feeling to be able to ski almost anywhere without too much worry and to be able to plan your day around the best snow conditions rather than having to avoid black or icy runs. An advanced skier is able to do just that and often chooses to ski with an instructor not only to refine their technique and develop their skill level but to challenge themselves in more demanding terrain such as off-piste, moguls or steeper terrain.
In order to keep up-to-date with all of the latest developments within the ski industry our instructors work closely with British Association of Snowsports Instructors (BASI) as Trainers and Examiners. This means that they are responsible for qualifying future ski instructors and are involved in decisions that influence how skiing is taught worldwide. We also have close links with Rossignol who are the most successful ski brand around and Sweet Protection who are at the forefront of innovation and design in helmets and outerwear. This all adds up to a ski school that can offer advanced ski lessons that inspire and motivate the most competent skier to continue to improve.
Our ski schools in Courchevel and Meribel will help you take the next step in your development as an advanced skier and our ski instructors will show you areas of the mountain that you would be unlikely to find by yourself. We can arrange an off-piste adventure in to Les Avals in Courchevel 1650 or explore the easily accessible off-piste that surrounds the resort of Meribel. Our advanced ski lessons will help you make your turns do more for you and find more flow in your short turns so that you have an adventure or two and most importantly enjoy your ski holiday in Courchevel or Meribel.
When organising a ski lesson we will always take into account a client’s technical ability as well as the prevailing weather and snow conditions before embarking on any session. Where an anticipated trip is not advisable based on any of these factors we will offer an alternative session based around a client’s interests. Furthermore it is imperative that you have the correct safety equipment and that you are confident in its use. If a period of training is required in order to meet this criteria we can organise this as part of your booking.
