Jason Gibson

At the age of seven I started skiing in the Scottish Highlands, I wasn’t very good but it wasn’t long until it was all I could ever think about! After years of skiing in Scotland my first overseas trip came as quite a shock as I realised that skiing didn’t always have to involve ice and hurricane strength winds.

By the time I was ready to leave school I had already done my first instructor qualification and I was soon busy applying for my first full-time teaching position. I’ve now worked all over the world including Italy, Switzerland, Scotland, New Zealand where I still spend my summers and France where I previously spent 8 years working for a local school and finding my way around the Three Valleys.

I love the feeling of satisfaction that I get when helping people reach their skiing goals. I believe that skiing needn’t be complicated and I aim to make my lessons as much fun and as memorable as possible so that you continue to improve long after the lesson is over. I really hope that you will come and spend some time with us here at Sweet Snowsports and that we get the chance to ski together soon.

Qualifications:

• BASI Level 4 ISTD
• Full French Equivalence
• BASI Trainer and Examiner
• Diploma Physical Education
• BA Sport in the Community
• MBA
